მოცემული კვლევის მიზანია, შეისწავლოს განათლების საკითხი ქართული პოლიტიკური პარტიების წინასაარჩევნო პროგრამების მიხედვით. გააანალიზოს განათლების პოლიტიკის აქტუალურობა და პრიორიტეტულობა. იმისათვის, რომ კვლევა უფრო საინტერესო და მრავალფეროვანი ყოფილიყო, საკვლევ ობიექტებად შეირჩნენ პარტიები, რომლებმაც 2016-2020 წლის საპარლამენტო არჩევნებში 3%-იანი ბარიერი გადალახეს. ნაშრომის მიზანს წარმოადგენს, შეისწავლოს თუ როგორ არის ასახული პარტიების პროგრამებში განათლების საკითხი და დაადგინოს ის ძირითადი ფაქტორები, რომლებიც აფერხებს მათი ყურადღების ცენტრში განათლების პოლიტიკის მოხვედრას. კვლევისას გამოყენებულია თვისებრივი კვლევის მეთოდები, კერძოდ, საკითხის ირგვლივ არსებული დოკუმენტების ანალიზი და სიღრმისეული ინტერვიუ. თემაზე მუშაობისას შემდეგი ორი საკვლევი კითხვა გამოიყო: 1. როგორ აისახება განათლების საკითხი ძირითადი ქართული პოლიტიკური პარტიების წინასაარჩევნო პროგრამებში? 2. რა ფაქტორებითაა გამოწვეული პოლიტიკური პარტიების ინტერესის ნაკლებობა განათლების საკითხისადმი? კვლევა არის სიახლე, რადგან იგი მოცემული თემის ირგვლივ არსებული მწირი ემპირიული ნაშრომების გამდიდრებას ემსახურება. ნაშრომი, არის მცდელობა, გამოკვეთოს განათლების პოლიტიკაში არსებული გამოწვევები და შეისწავლოს პოლიტიკური პარტიების ინდიფერენტული დამოკიდებულების მაპროვოცირებელი მიზეზები.

The aim of this study is to examine education-related issues as reflected in the pre-election programs of Georgian political parties. The research analyzes the relevance and prioritization of education policy within party agendas. To ensure the research is both diverse and engaging, the study focuses on parties that surpassed the 3% electoral threshold in the 2016–2020 parliamentary elections. The goal of the paper is to investigate how education issues are represented in party platforms and to identify the main factors that hinder education policy from becoming a central focus of political attention. The study employs qualitative research methods, specifically document analysis and in-depth interviews. Political parties’ attitudes toward education are analyzed at the programmatic level through the lens of rational choice theory. The research is guided by the following two questions: 1. How is the issue of education reflected in the pre-election programs of major Georgian political parties? 2. What factors contribute to the lack of interest in education issues among political parties? This study is innovative, as it aims to enrich the limited empirical literature surrounding this topic. It seeks to highlight the challenges present in education policy and to explore the underlying reasons behind political parties’ indifferent attitudes toward education.
